We built this because we got burned
Honestroolets started after two members of this team lost withdrawals to casinos that held five-star ratings on major review platforms. Both platforms earned affiliate commissions from the casinos that refused to pay. We do not.

What we actually do
The crypto casino review industry has a structural conflict of interest. Most sites earn commissions when players sign up through their links. A casino paying 40% revenue share on every deposit generates significant income for the site that recommended it. This creates an obvious incentive to recommend casinos that attract deposits, not casinos that protect players.
We publish three casinos. Not thirty. Not a hundred. Three, because those are the only ones that passed our six-category Trust Index after real-money testing. We turn down affiliate agreements from casinos that do not meet our standard. The Safe Choice list exists because the casinos on it earned it, not because they paid for placement.
When a Safe Choice casino fails a player, we contact the licensing authority directly. We have the names and email addresses of the relevant regulatory contacts at Curacao, Anjouan, and MGA. We initiate the formal complaint process. That is not a marketing claim. It is a documented part of our process and the reason the pass rate is 9.7%.
"A review site that earns money when you sign up has a financial incentive for you to sign up. A review site that earns nothing from sign-ups has a financial incentive to be right."
Molly White, Senior Editor
The six-category Trust Index
Every casino is scored across six categories. A casino can score well on five and fail on one. If the failure is in withdrawal reliability or complaint history, it does not make the list.
Licence & Regulatory Standing
We verify each licence directly with the issuing regulator. A licence number alone is not enough - we confirm it is current, the operator name matches, and the regulator has a working complaint mechanism.
Withdrawal Speed & Reliability
Five real withdrawals per casino using personal funds. We measure time from submission to wallet receipt, track any friction introduced mid-process, and document every step.
Bonus & Reward Fairness
Every bonus claim is stress-tested against expected value calculations. Wagering requirements, game contributions, cashout caps, and sticky versus non-sticky structures are all evaluated.
Game Integrity & RTP
We check published RTP figures against game provider documentation, test provably fair implementations where applicable, and flag any mismatch between advertised and actual return rates.
Support Quality Under Pressure
Support is tested at peak and off-peak hours, with questions designed to reveal deflection patterns. Response time, accuracy, and willingness to escalate are all scored.
Player Complaint History
We search public dispute databases, forum complaint threads, and regulatory records. Casinos with documented refusal-to-pay patterns are removed regardless of their other scores.
The research team
Two editors, each with a specific role in the testing cycle. No content farm. Every article and rating is produced by one of the two names below.

Molly White
Senior Editor, Crypto Casino Investigations
Shalini has spent nine years investigating the gap between what crypto casinos claim and what players actually experience. She leads our editorial process and signs off every Trust Index score before publication. Her work has tracked withdrawal refusal patterns, licence validity, and bonus term abuse across more than 300 platforms.

Shalini Nagarajan
Lead Analyst, Regulatory Compliance
Molly specialises in iGaming regulatory frameworks and the mathematics behind bonus structures. She contacts licensing authorities directly to verify every casino we cover and runs the quantitative analysis that underpins the Trust Index weighting model. Her background in financial compliance means she reads the fine print so players do not have to.
Conflict of interest policy
We do not accept payment for Safe Choice placement. We do not accept paid reviews, sponsored content, or "partnership" arrangements that involve positive coverage. Casinos that have attempted to purchase placement have been removed from consideration permanently.
The site covers operational costs through a small number of affiliate arrangements with the three casinos that independently earned Safe Choice status. The arrangement is disclosed here. Placement is never adjusted based on commission rate.
